In final days of November, we had the rare pleasure of not one, but two family members visiting from overseas: my bro Dan Lane, who was had just finished leading a Field Guilds orithological tour in Aotearoa, and my cousin-once-roved Yanik Nill and his girlfriend Hannah who toured Aoteaora for 7 weeks, all ending up with us at the same! It was the first time either Dan or I have met Yanik (or Hannah!), the elder son of our cousin Mark Nill (Surrey, BC, Canada)!
